First Amiga experience:
I bought my A500 in 1989 with 3 free programs (because there were a million Amigas sold at that time): "Jeanne d'Arc", some maths trainer and the great "Reflections".
Why did you join the club:
I think the AmigaOS is the very best OS around, so I wanted to help keeping it alive.
How do you see the future of Amiga:
I don't need the Amiga to be the worlds most selled platform. As long as there is some development, I can have fun with my favourite computer, and I am happy. So I'm not too worried about the future. It really should become at least a bit better with A1/OS4 than it is now

First Amiga experience:
In a department store in 1985 that had a complete showcase for the AMIGA 1000, I went as often as I could to see what new software, demos, and accessories there were.
Why did you join the club:
To lend a show of support for my favourite platform.
How do you see the future of Amiga:
It will likely never replace the PC, but it stands a good shot at replacing the Macintosh as the number two platform of choice. The same ranking when the A1000 was out. The niche the Amiga has to focus on is entertainment, which includes professional video production. The real selling point of the old and new Amigas is that they have a much longer life than the PC and are more fun to use. It's easier to tweak the AmigaOS than it is to get under the Windows or Linux hoods to tinker. The Amiga also has the leanest apps in the world. That, incombination with mass storage is a real selling point. As long as the Amiga remains innovative, it'll do fine. If we're going to spend the remainder of our days porting all of the PC apps, then who's going to want a computer with nothing but old apps and game?
